It's Official...

We are are home owners and we a moving! Trev and I just bought our first home in Tennessee. After much prayer and godly advice we have decided to to leave the DC area. How did we decide on TN you might ask...well we really looked at a map...yes that's right. Trev wanted to be by mountains and I wanted to be within four hours of my parents so East Tennessee sounded perfect. We visited the area once fell in love with the lakes, mountains, and community and bought a house. God has been with us through this whole process and everything went super smooth.

Now I just need furniture. We've lived in 600 square feet apartments the last couple years so I'm super excited to finally be able to paint and decorate for real! :)

Thank You Jesus!

I am loving this song by Casting Crowns on this Easter Sunday!

Glorious Day

One day when Heaven was filled with His praises

One day when sin was as black as could be
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin
Dwelt among men, my example is He
Word became flesh and the light shined among us
His glory revealed

Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day

One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain
One day they nailed Him to die on a tree
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He
Hands that healed nations, stretched out on a tree
And took the nails for me

Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day

One day the grave could conceal Him no longer
One day the stone rolled away from the door
Then He arose, over death He had conquered
Now He’s ascended, my Lord evermore
Death could not hold Him, the grave could not keep Him
From rising again

Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day

One day the trumpet will sound for His coming
One day the skies with His glories will shine
Wonderful day, my Beloved One, bringing
My Savior, Jesus, is mine

Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day

Oh, glorious day

Spring Break in South Carolina

The hubs and I went to South Carolina for my spring break. We had an amazing time hanging out with my cousins and their spouses. I am so blessed to have an amazing godly family. One night when all six of us were sitting around the table drinking coffee and eating snickerdoodles I got tears in my eyes because I felt so grateful to the Lord for the friendships that I have with my cousins...I know I'm a little emotional.

Here are some pictures of our awesome adventure filled week!

First of all my cousin and her husband were amazing hosts! We got to the house and in our room she had a decorative chest filled with all sorts of activities we could do in Charleston. Then every morning they made us a BIG breakfast, talk about southern hospitality. This was my favorite breakfast...pecan rolls... AMAZING!!

While we were there was also fell in love with their pups. I caught Chase red handed digging, isn't that face irresistible (you may have to be a boxer lover to understand).

We went to the beach almost everyday!

We went on a canoe trip with wild alligators. I don't have time to post the details I will do a whole post on that this coming week, here's just a little taste:)

On our last night we decided to get all dressed up and go downtown for dinner. However it rained and I mean it rained a lot! Since downtown Charleston is at sea level and so old they have a flooding problem just take a look, but we made the best of it.

I miss SC and them already!

Great Falls

Mom and Dad came out to DC this weekend. We so enjoy hanging out with them, they are the coolest mom and dad ever. On Saturday Trev had to work but we had fun shopping and then going to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the UK vs. UConn game (1 POINT)...ahh...I'd rather not talk about it. On Sunday we enjoyed a hike out at Great Falls National Park. Here are some of my favorite pics from the day.
